Microsoft publicly announced on June 1, 2015 the availability date for Windows 10

Comments:

  • Windows 10 will become available to the general public on July 29, 2015
  • Initial release will be available to/for PC’s and Tablets devices
  • Windows 10 initial release will be a free upgrade for Windows 7 Sp1 and Windows 8.1 pc and tablet devices
  • Windows 10 will be available via Windows Update and in full version media in the retail market
  • Windows 10 via Windows Update is expected to be approximately 3 GB (download size)
  • Third party (online, retail outlets) will have media (full version only) at a later date (est. end August 2015)
